APSL har beslutat att avelsvärderad häst får visas igen i syfte att höja sina poäng. Det kan tilläggas att detta blir mycket kostsamt och krångligt. Som hästägare måste man påvisa att oegentligheter gjort att hästen inte blev godkänd vid första tillfället. Det krävs också 3 APSL domare som gör ombedömningen och hästtägaren får betala alla omkostnader. Denna ombedömning kan in te heller ske vid en vanlig feira utan måste vara ett separat event. ANNOUNCEMENT

 

APSL’s board of directors has submitted a motion to the general meeting, requesting alterations to Lusitano Breed Studbook Regulations, approved in March 2007 and ratified by the Alter Real Foundation, as the supervisory body’s representative, on 24 October 2007.

 

All interested parties are hereby notified of the procedures for filing appeals over points which have already been awarded, requesting a reinspection of their animals.

 

1 - REINSPECTION FOR THE PURPOSE OF INCREASING POINTS

Animals which have already been approved are entitled to be reassessed, by the Registration Committee, on a single occasion, with the possibility of the number of points awarded at the time of Studbook registration being altered, if the number of points awarded in the reinspection is higher than the number of points awarded at the time of the first inspection.
 
Owners of animals which have already been approved as studhorses are, therefore, entitled to apply for the respective reinspection.
For male horses, it is sufficient to apply for registration at one of the annual concentrations. Female horses should apply for reinspection. Reference should be made, in both cases, to the fact that this is a reinspection.
 
2 – REINSPECTION OF ANIMALS WHICH HAVE FAILED IN THEIR STUDBOOK APPLICATION

The breeder or owner of an animal which has failed in its studbook application may request a reinspection of the animal.

The committee for examining the animal shall, in such cases, comprise:    
                                                
a) The technical secretary or a representative, to be appointed by APSL; 
b) A breed judge to be appointed by the breeder; 
c) A breed judge to be appointed by FAR

The reinspection request should, therefore, include the name of the breed judge to be chosen from the enclosed list. 

Applicants shall be informed by APSL, at a later stage, of the date and place in which the animal will be examined. All expenses incurred on an animal’s transport and accommodation (if necessary) shall be paid for by its breeder/owner.

The cost of these reinspections shall be EUR 1,000. APSL members are entitled to a 50% discount.
